At American Millwork, we are concerned about our environment for today and for the generations to come. Realizing that wood is the nation’s only naturally renewing resource, American Millwork takes great care in promoting proper forest management and highly efficient, environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes. We partner with a limited number of domestic lumber suppliers who provide us with high quality hardwood lumber and who practice sustainable forest management.

  • Each year in the U.S., over 30% more hardwood fiber is grown than is harvested.
  • The total volume of wood growing in the U.S. forestlands is 25% greater today than it was 50 years ago.

In fact, over 99% of the fiber coming into American Millwork’s plant is sold to distributors or end users. Every step of the way, we treat our customers, our products and natural resources with the respect they deserve.
