Why Hardwood? *

When you consider crown moulding, base boards, door framing or chair rail, don't consider anything less than hardwood mouldings from American Millwork. They cost less than you think and deliver superior long-term value.

Soft woods, such as pine, dent and gouge easily, leaving permanent, obvious marks. Hardwoods are exceptionally durable for lasting beauty. The cost difference is surprisingly minimal, especially when you consider price versus durability. And homes that include a hardwood moulding package have a higher resale value and are marketed as having "hardwood trim."

Choose poplar or fingerjoint poplar for painting; cherry, oak or maple for staining.
